Is it? Or is it just heavy? I know it sounds silly but I like the look of the oval '944 type' outlet. How were they as far as flowing? My car is 98% unmodified so I shouldn't really be that worried about hurting the motor. Thanks

Re: G60 stock rear exhaust; really that bad? (DONSFLRADO)

don't worry at all about the stock rear muffler. If you get a leak from the suitcase muffler cut that out and run a 2.25" pipe from the cat to the stock rear muffler. I've done this with a few cars and it only costs about $50-$80 and its worth it. I did this on cars that had rotted out mid sections on the exhaust but still a very good rear muffler (sometimes after market rear mufflers like flowmaster) and have always liked the effect. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I am thinking of upgrading my TT 2.5 dual resonater system. I want to chuck the Borla and put in a stock muff.
Need to get rid of the droaning.
