$2.62 for 87 here in town, $2.49 at BJ’s on the NH side if the river.

The dip down near $2 sure didn’t last long.

Octanes were 10 cent jumps for pretty much my entire life. Something changed not too many years ago and now the jumps are much bigger. No idea why.

Seeing the mpg’s you guys get in your little cars makes me feel a bit better about the 22-25 we’re managing in the RAV4. We’re so used to the 40+ of the Prius that it’s been hard to adjust our brains even though the actual cost doesn’t difference isn’t really that much.

If it keeps rising we just put the hybrid back into commuter duty is all.

Perfect example of people who don't value their time.
For real. Is COSCO only open 1 hour per day? Is the price really that much lower?

We don't have Costco but we do have BJ's. They recently opened a many-pumps new station. Price is good, but not really much better than I get from Cumberland Farms with my app-pay discount. It's generally my choice of station when I'm in that area though because it's new, conveniently located, and clean (as long as you avoid the skanky diesel pumps).

Compared to where I live - nope, no differnce. I've owned 3 new cars here 11.5 yrs, 12 yrs and one I have now is almost 15 yrs old. The climate here is fine for cars. No salt used when it snows once a year either.
And I can drop the top on my S2000 ~9-10 months a yr. Run summer tires all yr long.

Now where you live is a nightmare, my B-I-L's door rust on his 5 yr old Camry is something you don't see on 40 yr old cars here. He lives in Rochester. His cars/trucks last 6-7 yrs max before they're done.
I really need to move out of the rusty-snow belt. :banghead:

We're down to around $2.60 (87) right now. I'm surprised as it's been falling slowly since the WH started beating the Iran war drums. This tanker stuff will probably ramp that up again.

Filled up with 87 for $2.22/gal at the BJs in West Lebanon NH today. The other stations in the NH side are around the same.

Still $2.45 in my town 15 minutes west :roll eyes:

Rumor has it that 87 dipped below $2/gal just south of me in Springfield VT. It was $2.13 in Claremont NH yesterday.

Lowest out here is $1.33, but average is $1.69 at most places.

Maybe a dumb question, and maybe already answered in this thread. Why is the difference between regular and premium (typically 93 here) now about 80c? Used to be typically 10c jump to mid then another 10c jump to premium, now it's about a 40c jump between them, don't really care, just curious what the reasons were.
That's a gap that's been growing for about a decade now, but I agree, it was always +10 cents per grade for most of my life, now the gaps get really big.

adrew, my friend in Stillwater just posted this...

it was $1.59 in Stillwater this morning but OKC and Tulsa have already hit $.99
Those prices are just insane. we only just tipped below $2.00 here with many stations still at $2.2X.
