First off, if you want to get in on this deal you have to be really patient. The front bumper is the only piece you will need to wait for. The chrome strips, sides and rear should not be a problem. The prices are extremely low so take advantage of this deal. The person in charge of this Group Buy is a VW parts manager(Tony) so everything is cool. The prices are as follows:
Front Bumper: $379
Side Skirts: $299
Rear Bumper: $374
Chrome Grill Strips: $64
The Number for VW Puente is 800-827-4723 ext. 124 or 125. You could also be transfered to the parts department if you would like. The MAN in charge is Tony (parts manager) from the parts department. He is a really nice guy. As for shipping, the company has hookups to shipping so it should not be that much. Well anyway go ahead and give him a call if interested.

All dealerships have no clue when that front bumper is coming in, but when you order Tony said that he places you on a speedy list. This allows the pieces to come alot faster.

so if we get the front bumper we can not have our pizzy's front bumper lense?

You should be able to use pizzy's clears because the US spec has holes cut out for the lenses

I want one, but want to make sure the entire kit is in stock. I will call my local dealer and see what they can do. that is a good price though. I will keep a watch on this.

Damn that's a nice bumper. Why the hell don't they make something like that for the Golf??? The Votex kit for the Golf is rather lame.

what is it made of? is it as durable as the stock bumper? Can you have it during winter?

Do we need to order all of the pieces together as a kit or can we order only the pieces we want and still get the same price?

Is the Rear US spec bumper the same as the Euro spec version or is that also slightly different?
I think I remember hearing someone say that the US spec rear bumper did not have cutouts for an exhaust...

It is made of Polyurathane I believe. I have the side skirts and they are polyurathane.

No you do not need to order all the pieces, these prices could be purchased individually at that price.

I dont think that it has a cutout for the exhaust. The Euro Spec does not either though. Ask 2001 VR6 he has the euro version.

exhaust cutouts r only prototype versions... but u could always have it cut and smoothed out... don't know how it would work but maybe that would give u guys some ID

There is no US spec version for the golf/gti. You would have to get it from rpi-equipped.com
