[Ghetto-8v]

My car needs some major help. Looking for the best way to get my ET's down some. Turbo would be nice but how reliable are they?? Expierences, opinions welcome....
My car: 95 Jetta 2.0

Even with an automatic, you ought to be running mid 17's...I got 17.556 with my 99 2.0L, bone stock, and I would say that at the time, I didn't really know what I was doing. My suggestion is, work on your shifting to improve your times.

modify the driver before the car.
you do have mods..so power isn't the problem. you should be able to break out of the 18's. what 60 foot you running? 330 foot? 1/8th mile? 1/4 mile? what's your MPH at the end of the 1/4? give us more information and maybe you can use that to *your* advantage.

Your reaction time could be better and the 50' mark has to come down also . What rpm are you shifting at

My 5000lb Chevy tahoe runs 18.1 a mile high!!!! this equals out to about a 16.5 @ 84 MPH at sea level... Something isn't right here...

and don't try racing me til you figure it out!

What elevation is the track at?

Track is about seal level, can't be much more.
I shift at like 5200 RPM
