Getting new rear brakes FREE
I called vw up and told that the rear brakes are gone on my jetta. They said they know they have a problem with it and that they will do it for free. Thats cool for me.

I tried this, it didn't work. I ended up shelling $400 for new rear brakes. The dealer said they tried...

i got new front rotors and new front brake pads replaced under warrenty.
i am also getting new pistons and oil rings due to oil consumption in may.
just goes to show you some dealers do care about you.

if i go to my local dealer, and show them the TSB
will they fix the problem with the rear brakes
wasting faster than the fronts??
i went throught the rears at about 20K and now i'm
running mintex pads, and i have a feeling the are wearing
out a lot faster than the front ones again!!
its 30k miles and the front look brand new! the front ones
always less brake dust then the rear.
help, what can i do?
