something looks odd about these graphs as well, as the tq and hp lines for either run aren't crossing at 5252rpm as they should be...
here's my v.4 versus v.10 graph from this week. nice gains all around..
G%$D*MN you people piss me off! Everything is bogus or photoshop'd.
Here's the individual runs. So STFU about the data being bogus! The graphs stopped at different RPM's causing a difference in scale when overlayed.
Relax man, no need to flip its just that every 1.8t dyno I've seen has crossed at 5250, that means my chipped 1.8t, chris86vw k04'd 1.8t and when he had his cams in they crossed at the same point too
Mike
Well, the torque and HP curves should *always* cross at 5252 RPMs, since according to the horsepower formula, HP and torque are always the same at 5252. After that torque usually drops off, but HP keeps increasing.
sometimes dyno software doesn't put the hp and torque on the same scale, so the graph may not always show HP and torque crossing at 5250.
Anyway, on the graph that made all the power, his new V.10 graph, they do cross at 5250.
