"Whoa, you're car's pimp!", she said. I replied with thanks. She then said "I wish I had your car, it looks much cooler then mine." She has a 1.8T Jetta, also red. So are Jetta's really girl cars? Thats not the first time girls have been eyeing my car. I took my car to get washed by a fundraiser my high school was having and another girl wanted it.

Unless your a "VW Person"...I usually end up telling people what kind of car it is that I actually drive...although, I do usually get some complimentary comments on the ride itself once it is clarified what it actually is that I'm driving.....most people think that it's a Jetta for some reason...I guess because they are more familiar with the term "Jetta" and because it seems to appeal to the masses a bit more....but as for the chicks....they seem to like my ride...and is a good thing to have somewhat of a conversation piece for the ladies you know.... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

to go with this topic ... there was this guy in an s class mercedes dumped on brabus ... full amg body kit etc etc ... and its some 50 year old classy asian guy.... i pull up to him at a stop light .just looking at his beautiful mb...he then looks over at me and just stares for a second... he kind of motions me to roll down my window... when i do he says "hey ...thats a nice looking jetta...nice rims ......i was about to by my daughter a vr6 jetta... and i was wondering if they cars are reliable etc.. and i tell him ya ya they are good cars.handle good and very reliable if maintained....then out of no where he asks me what do you think about the audi s4 .... i just laughed and go ..."sir thats my ultimate car" ...i say to him " why do you want an s4 when you have the s class all fixed up" ... he says" this is my wifes car and i am about to buy a new car" would you recommend the s4....i say" hahahahahaa sir go test drive the s4 and your mind will be set..." the light just turned green ... we said take care and went our ways..... i kind of drove of thinking damn this guy is buying his daughter a jetta and he wants an s4....he is over 50 and it was pretty bad ass he give me all those compliments ....(this all happened at a stop light next to my house)
2 months down the road.... i see the guy .. he lives about 5 min from my house.... yellow imola s4... 6 speed ...dumped on brabus rims... dtm exhaust tip and smoked rear tails ....
the most funny part is i sometimes see his wife driving the s4 .. and she is one of those new age versaci wearing bling bling asian women.... and she looks all prissy.... driving a hella dumped s4... i laugh my arse off ...

girls always dig jetta's. I dunno why. But they are the ultimate chick car.
Almost bought one, but I found my golf first. More of a guy car. Even though girls still call it "cute".

Yeah...the FWD thing does become less cool as you get more into cars. Still, FWD can be fun as well...I try to get the tail to slide using lift-off oversteer as much as I can (not in traffic, however...that's dumb). I'll own a RWD car someday, but I'm never getting rid of my C (if I can help it.) I'm thinking a 911 before I'm 30.

Exactly. I'm thinking 911 next year. A nice C2 will fit the bill! I'll miss my GTI and all the fun we've had together, but Stuttgart is calling.

My car definately gets the cute comments. Oh well. Let 'em think that.
