gti's are way better
but if you're planning on big modifications, including: engine, tranny, suspension, brakes...........you should buy a golf, they're cheaper

i was planning on going with the 8v engine ( for autocrossing ) and im sure i would end up putting my brembo's on my new car
whichever it may be . so im thinking golf right now , just gotta find SOMETHING .
