Exactly how do you remove the rear whiper on a Golf/GTI? I took off the screw that seemed to be holding the whiper in place. Well, after I took the screw off, the whiper didn't seem to budge. Is there something that I can't see that needs to be taken off? Or do I just need to use more force to pull it off?

The spring tension that holds the wiper blade on the glass causes the mount to bind, you need to lift the wiper blade, and gently pry under the mount base, it will come off with some work.
