Golf mk3 GTI TDI????

Hi,
I've noticed that a GTI version of the mk3 tdi 110 hp exists.
Does anybody knows the part numbers of the batches on this car?
Was this model available in every country?..

um i dont think they were available in the US..but i could be wrong...but CAN. might have them, if not def. fatherland

ahhh.....as far as I know nothing like that ever touched the shores of the states.....come to think of it...I've never heard of such a car manufactured but that's not to say it wasn't....I'd like more info if it's out there..

I thought only the NEW 2002 tdi's are 110HP? cause my friend has one from 2001 and i think it is 90HP

In europe ,the 110 hp tdi was sold from september 1996
