I know that the ACC is an active damper system (magnetic?), but will it make much of a difference from the non ACC?

Is this an item that is worthwhile doing aftermarket, or is it just in the "too fiddly" basket? Or is there more to be gained getting some KW suspension upgrades?

Honestly if a softer ride is not of particular concern, then just go with a KW V3. I noted that the new hyper car, Hanessy whatever (the stretch Lotus) uses KW V3 as it's suspension! That's how good it is.

I didn't option ACC on my car due to the fact I expect to install PSS10's or the like - but if you don't plan on changing your suspension setup, it sounds as though its a great option. Particularly at $1500. I believe you can still change your wheels and springs (Koni+ACC so far) without hassle. Plenty of info on the various VW forums about this - best read up.
