Euro Tails

Okay, well since cars are finally getting delivered, might as well kick it off to start gathering info…anyone finding info on MK8 Euro Tails? This forum was my source for installing the MK7 Euro Tails, harness and the necessary coding. Hoping we can make this happen again for the MK8!

Nice to know, hopefully they get this sorted, I really dislike the US tails. I was planning on wrapping them with red film, but would greatly prefer just having the ROW lights.

Yes…. Not sure how Audi got their tail lights through but vw couldnt?

The Audi tail lights still have an area that flashes. The VW signals in Europe don't have any flashing parts

I think U.S. FMVSS 108 require flashing, which is why the audi blinks and has scrolling indicators, scrolling alone might be illegal still...must have some kind of blink...all based on rules form the 1960's!!! Finally getting progress on allowing better E code stuff here...FMVSS108 has the specs

This is exactly why. I doubt a cop would ever know/care unless you were driving like an a-hole
