Re: GOLF R32 (gti2k)

If the R32 makes it here by the time I'm due for a new car, I'm going to have a really hard time deciding between that or the GTI DE. Of course, that's a bit of a Portnoy's Complaint, but still...

How hard could it be to decide:
GTI DE:
No V6
No AWD
No 18's
Im just kidding The GTI DE Is awesome, and Im glad they are really bringing it to North America. Althought the R32 is simply sweet. See I live in PA and the added AWD would be a god sent. See I am sick of just hearing about the WRX's AWD, Why cant we have AWD in our Golfs, Jettas? I' really dont want to wait for the MKV's and their AWD models. So If VW where to produce this in here I wouldnt hesitate in spending up to 27-30K (no more though)

The DE will have 18" BBS RCs and $27-30K for the R32 is a pipe dream. The DE with FWD and 1.8T is $25K for crying out loud! First off , the R32 will likely never be built and if it were and if it were offered here, it would be priced at well over $30K.

Sorry if my dream isn't realistic but tell me you wouldnt want that "pipe dream" to come true http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I hear ya, but I'd also have a dream in which Ferrari's can be had for $1500

Re: GOLF R32 (VR6guy)

Hey VR6Guy are you looking forward at all to the MKV's? you think it's a better idea just to wait for them, or get the 24V Vr6gti? This is for my situation I have a crappy jeep 187,000 miles and I hate it.

Thanks Any Opinions From Vortexers Welcome!!!

The Golf R32 will only be offered in Germany and it will be very expensive.
The DE GTI will be priced below $23k not $25k.
