the model 3 bender is a good tool for a good price, it is what we use. get the degree wheel option, its a must imo. be prepared to spend some cash on dies, they are pricey and add up when you buy a few.
weve built a few of these with the model 3 manual bender. mild steel is easy to bend, you get a workout with 4130.

These are great, we use the model 4, and have no problems, ours came with an air over hydraulic foot pedal, but the dies are pricey and add up quick, I set up ours on a stand with wheels so it is easy to move around the shop, this has been an essential pc in our shop, one of our best investments http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Dont be tempted to buy a cheap pipe bender. Yes, they are available cheap but they are made for pipe not tubing. They will kink your bends. what I want to do is get a cheap pipe bender and make my own dies for it. Then youve got a cheap bender that will make good bends.
