I am getting the 12.3 disks and I will have to upgrade to 16 or plus.
Should I go for 16 or 17??
What wheels will be good for Solocrossing??

Go with the smaller size rims for solo [ I or II ?] Less weight counts for acceleration

I'm running Kosei Racing - Seneka's. Mine are 17's and weight 17.5 lbs so the 16's will be even less. They're also very strong, I hit a few bumps this summer in my travles that made me cringe BUT there is not one bend , bumps or crack and they don't have any wobble.
$129 for the Seneka's in 16 is a great price.
SSR's & VOLK are very light as well but also VERY expensive.

Why don't you just go look on the Tirerack site? Use the smallest wheel you can possibly fit over those brakes.

Re: Good rims for Solocross, and tires (A1Rocco)

well, I have. The wheels would be 16's. The problem is do they make tires (road race tires, like victory racers, or any R tire) that fit 16 inchers
