mods i know this belongs in regional forum but i need an answer ASAP so please spare me

please help! my cousins mk4 jetta 1.8t's waterpump failed and i'm unfamiliar with the area and looking for good local shops close to doylestown, pa.. 45min north of philly. gonna have the waterpump replaced and do the timing belt while theyre in there.. i live on long island and really dont want to drive all the way to pa to fix it for her lol.. so hook me up with some good shops nearby fellas.
how many hours is a timing belt/water pump job? pepboys wants to charge her $1,700 and that sounds like a complete ripoff.. whats the going rate on a 1.8t tb job? thanks!

should be a 3-4 hr job. i could recommend something further down south, but nothing around philly.

at a shop its gonna be at least $1000
nothing leaves stock is somewhere in PA and did have a $600 (or so) special

timing belt/water pump shouldnt be more than $900...i can get mine done for $550, but its a 2.0 and im not sure what how big prices can vary from region to region so idk if theres a huge parts/labor difference or not either.

Joking aside, hopefully your cousin can get this taken care of without much hassle.
