Has anyone purchased a GoPro Camera yet? I wanted to get one for some cross country shooting when I get back to the states and wasnt sure if it was worth the $300. I watched some of the sample videos and it looks fantastic I just wasnt sure if the company spoofed up the movie to make it look better than it was. I would assume that if it records in HD then it would come out nice. If anyone has purchased one, is there any way you could shoot a little sample for me? Thanks in advance!

Yeeeeaaaaah...I did a little research and watched some videos of both and to be honest im not too keen on ContourHD. Even though it seems that Contour had a wider view than GoPro, it seemed that you didnt get much sound with Contour. I dont know if you can adjust the recording audio, I couldnt find anything on that. And Yes I will be adding some music to some of the footy, but I'll want some raw sound aswell. I will continue to look into both and possibly find others for similar price and ill be sure to get back. As it stands I am leaning towards GoPro.
