T3/T4 Stage IV upgrade..keep in mind I'm going with the best turbo, not the cheaper one (software for stage III until Stage IV) apparenlty stage four will come with injectors and a boost controller (they said the cost might be lower depending on the availability of the boost controller)
FMIC
Quaife LSD (not cheap to install)
VR6 Stage III Clutch
Lightened Flywheel
Billstein Shocks
H&R Springs
Brake upgrade (all 4 disk/pad only)..don't recall brand
...I think I didn't miss anything.....
Installed as I'm too lazy to do some and unqualified to do most.
I was told they'd cut me a deal to do it all. One portion that was missing was the 3" exhaust from the downpipe back. He said a little bit longer until that's out. I was a bit bummed by that.

Are there any clubs or get togethers in the SJ area? Im in cupertino and think it would be cool cuz i wanna see more tuned cars. The only time i really get to is the ND car show.

I'm not sure. I've been so busy with work that it makes it tough for me on the weekends. I went to a SFBA VW Gruppe or something. The people seemed very friendly but I never got to know anyone too well to wanna keep going. I had to hit and run the one meeting I made (it was supposed to be a nice drive). I'm cool with any GTG's from the guys on this board. Especially once the kit is installed.

16vracer, what company is stroking these motors under high boost? I haven't looked at the specifications but if my memory serves me, having a good rod to stroke ratio is important. Does moving to 2.0-2.1 help or hurt this? I'll dig up my notes and repost if I find them. This was a huge deal on Honda motors. A 1.6 or 1.5 sometimes had nearly or greater potential than the 1.8L motors.

I believe our engines are over square ... if I was to increase displacement on a turbo car I wouldn't do a overbore ... I'd go with more stroke, then again the stock crank is a forged piece of art

btw what is everone doing for a downpipe back solution. ATP would have to custom make the system from the downpipe back custom. Is the Forced Motion easy enough to connect with this kit? Anyone?

2.0L kits are available but be prepared to pay big dollars. Abt, MTM and Dahlback all have 2.0L kits. They use a stroker crank. The Race Store will be importing some 2.0L kits and is working on pricing right now. If I remember correctly were looking at 340hp or so.

Did you see my current budget? A stroker kit is cheap in comparison.

Looks like this purchase might be on hold. I hear the software solution ATP has is suboptimal. I'm not dumping the cash unless this stuff is truly custom done. I'll keep everyone posted.

DAmn for that price you might have well bought a WRX and gotten the same results....
Ok j/k, but DAYYYYYYAUMMMMM!!! That's like 1/2 the price of your GTI!!! Hope it's fast!
