i pulled this code the other night.
Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake) : Retard set point not reached (Over Advanced) P0011 - 35-10 --- Intermittent
any ideas as to what it means or how to fix?

It might be that you are not pulling enought timing, or too much. Not really sure though. Good luck

It sounds like the camshaft adjustment valve may have crapped out. This is what adjusts the cam timing between the intake and exhaust cams. Check the restance between the two pins at room temp (cold engine). S/B 10-18 ohms

found it, it reads 13.4 ohms

The code does say it is intermitant. The valve and the tensioner/adjuster are two pieces. The tensoiner has a history of problems due to oil feed. To replace this it will require the removal of the cams. I don't know if you feel you are up to this. If it is not something you have done before I would find some help.

oh man really? so you think i really need to replace this piece? what causes this problem? should it be warranty even though i got a BT kit?

Big Turbo maybe...
it only has to do with emissions, so i don't think its an engine life or death thing...
If you have < 50k miles go to the dealer

yeah i only got 15k miles. so the dealer shouldn't give me a hard time then?
