If your trottle switch is resting on the fuel shutoff switch. turn the screw in so it just doesnt touch it. I did this and no more idle problems. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

What fuel shutoff switch? As far as I know there's an idle switch and a full throttle switch on the throttle body. If you're talking about the idle switch, it's supposed to be touching the throttle lever when the thottle is closed. If you're adjusting it so it doesn't touch to solve an idle problem then you're treating a symptom instead of fixing the underlying problem. Oh well, it's an old car. Whatever works.

I thought the switch it rests on at idle is the fuel shutoff switch. If not then i dunno. but it helped with my idle problem. If your right then it is the idle swtich. maybe the idle stitch OR the isv is messed.
