Whats up fellas, well I guess it was my time. I was in stop and go traffic on Rt. 4 in jersey and the guy in front of me stopped short and I didnt stop in time.
Thankfully we were both alright, just sucks that I have to deal with it. Here's the damage.
Bad: it's an accident, something that's been happening a lot on this particular board... Rave'nGTI, steez, Sanctified come to mind. My heart sinks every time I see a topic like that started by a familiar nick.
Good: you're ok, the other guy's ok, the oettinger part of the bumper's ok, the rims are ok, the engine seems ok. Could've been worse... Don't feel bad! Good luck in the future.
Ugh sorry to hear about your accident. I went through essentially the same thing. Woman pulled out in front of my and nailed my pass. side bumper and fender. It took out the hood both fenders front bumper grill. Everything cost like $9k most of the cost was paint and prep of the body panels. Make sure you get their info and tell your insurance co ASAP. Call your dealer that you deal with and ask them what bodyu shop they recomend and demand VW panels. EVery thing wil work out in the end
as some one said above...
bad: because of the obvious
good: can now get a CF hood or the Boser look, and the oettiger bumper is ok....also can get ecodes.....
sorry if i dont help, i try to look at the positive things.....negative things SUCK
oh man...at forst i was thinking "oh man...another accedent..." but when i saw what car it was, i said "oh fu¢k!"...that really sucks man...at least you're alright...and now that i look at it...it's really not that bad...good luck with making it better than before!
