Got My Car Back From The Dealer........Scratched!

Just to prove that the dealers in the UK can be as bad some of those in the US and Canada, thought I'd get the following off my chest.
Got my car back on Friday after almost 2 weeks at the delears (had been off the road as the coil had failed, and they had problems getting a replacement) and as it was raining, didn't really get a chance to give a once over.
When I checked it out this morning (Saturday) I found lots of little scratches on the bonnet, as if something had been dragged over it (a hosepipe, maybe?), together with 3 stonechips down the side. The scratches on the bonnet have mostly polished out, but you can still see them if you look, so a more permanent repair will be necessary.
I phoned the dealer to complain, and they said they will get it "sorted". I'm going in on Monday to show them the car, and to have a few words with the service manager - can't wait to hear what he's got to say.

hehe, "sorted." i like that word.
anyway, i had a similar occurance at my dealership w/ my wife's new beetle right after we had bought it. i had an oil change done, and in the process mr. dumass dented the driver's side door (pretty bad dent, too).
fortunately it was sunny in Vegas, as I was able to point it out right away and they were required to fix it. it actually took them three shots at the body shop to get it right, but i wasn't taking the car till it was done. they did furnish a rental car for me while the repairs were made... a Mazda protoge, nice lil car! anyhow, i was so pissed that i took their rental car on a 1000 mile roadtrip.
