How the hell do I hook this thing up? Cables aren't long enough to reach, I was thinking of replacing them anyhow, but where do I get the terminals from? Anyone else have the Red Top, impressed, disapointed, or just another battery?

I like mines.. I replaced all the battery cables w/ some 0 gauge.. very noticeable difference in voltages http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Did you get new terminal clamps or cut and paste the old?

i managed too carefully remove mine...use a thin screwdriver to prise the crimp open...then put the clamp in a vise and pull on the wire

i have a g60 and my terminals BARELY fit on there. the stock clamp doesn't work w/ the optima (i'm going to resort to zip ties for the time being) so what's holding the battery in place ARE the terminals

i got a red top... i managed to fit mine in a vr6... it was hardn but i did it. the problem is because there is a ground behind the battery that attaches to the body of the car. i took everyihtng out in the area and moved a few things around(no cutting) and was able to get it to fit. i love the optima cause my car starts every time. i killed the battery to 0 voltage like 5 times and it keeps powering back up. if u dont want this hassel id just hit up a orange top. same battery, just the terminals are reversed so they fit like a stock batt

I got a Red Top because my other one was LEAKING all over the place, and an optima won't spill over.
I spliced in longer cables. pretty easy

Well its especially important that a battery doesn't leak on a Corrado because of the mess of wires that run under the battery tray/mounting...

I have the yellow top Optima. I had to lengthen my cables in my G60.
Almost 3 years since I've gotten it and have been very happy with it ever since. Haven't had any problems with it. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Mine went right in.... but I'm not sure if this is the place where the battery is normally mounted?
