Finally got some Euro bumpers for my Scirocco 16v yesterday. I've heard the the original bumper bracket bolts won't work? If the bolts are a different size than the original ones how will the new bolts thread into the old bolt holes of the body if the the bolts are different. I want to put them on next weekend and I want to make sure I get all the right hardware beforhand so I don't have any surprises.

I retapped mine and used these ultra industrial strength bolts when I did mine... I forget what the size is though...
I think AutoTech has the bolts... or try our good friend Potterman!

same here just retapped them. you might have to anyways cause when i got mine the thread wasnt in very good condition anyways.

What is 'regular' pitch? It looks like 10mm with a 1.50 pitch. The stock bolts that are in there already, look like 10mm with a 1.25 pitch (finer thread pitch). Anyone know for sure the correct bolt for the Euro bumpers? Thanks!

Euro bolt is M12x1.75x25 with courser thread.

standard pitch is 1.5
