Lucky you! I have the UPsolute chip and from what Jim told me, the dealerships do not have the equiptment to detect your chip. And when they clear the codes for the CEL, it does not take away your chip. I think the chip actually has to be flashed for the chip to go away. Jim told me that if that ever happened that he would put the program back on for me with no problem. I too have been to the dealership with a CEL, and nothing was mentioned about it and my car still had the power when I got it back! I was worried that they might say something to me about it. You know how dealerships just love to get out of warranty work!!! But, they had no idea!!! I am sure that the dealership clearing the codes is the reason your car feels so much better. I just had my CEL come on this past Friday, and it seemed like my boost just disapeared, well it went off itself and poof,a couple of days later my boost was back and the CEL was gone. I never even got the chance to take it to the dealership. That CEL is just weird!!!!!
