Just out of curiousity, this being an 11:1 compression. Does this pull back the timing a lot. I know a lot of peeps w/ the mk4 head gasket were having problems because of i guess pinging, so the computer was taking back some timing. Do you know any ways to resolve that w/ out running higher octane fuel. Also one other question, will they customer make in compression ratio?? Like say someone wanted 10.5 :1 or 10.2 : 1 ... Just wondering....and a free bump

The deal is that the timing is bump/reduced to near edge (software), before pinging. The higher compression will give you the improved power and response.
