hey my name is jim and im new to this site and i just got my first car which is a '98 vw jetta GLS, 2.0 I know its the ***** engine but oh well ill live. Its really sweet but im constantly looking for upgrades. i heard that the greddy G2 exhaust is good power wise but how does it sound. I want a deep throaty sound as well as power and im not really sure if it provides both. If you have any input in this matter hit me back.

No info on the Greddy, but a good amount of people have the TT, myself included, and am very happy with it

Nice tone when you hitthe gas, and not loud and annoying as well!

Supersprint, Neuspeed, Remus, Scorpion, Oettinger, Hartmann, Abt, Sebring, Jetex...all very good systems out there.
Techtonics is great for the buy..but there are others as the ones mentioned above.

From what I hear, the GReddy G2 systems are great quality and sound great as well. But it's a bit spendy for what you get. I second the vote for the TT systems, I love mine! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Some one i know has the super sprint and i know it sounds great but does it push the ponies. I need horses i only got a 2.0 and well, im beating civics but its still not fast enough. If you could tell me where to research it id appreciate it

I didnt think so either but i was flippin through euro-tuner and it says '98-up jetta and i have a '98 so i guess i just made the deadline

Some of the Japanese car tuners are so new to the VW and European Import scene that many times they are not up on the different models and years and when they cross-over. You might wanna give them a call or email, because it sounds more like a Mk4 application (right now), other wise the exhausts would fit back to 1993.

i waz told that if i got a super sprint system it would be really quiet on my car b/c its a 2.0 Would remus be a better solution to this problem of what to get. Im just not sure, if im gonna pay that much for exhaust i want it to sound good and give me horsepower. but im just lost and not sure what to do. If you know any websites with information on these two systems please inform me of them thanx
