there are two ways of doing it
1.) screw it to the hood....gives it a nice clean, flush look
or
2.) attach to the grille itself....this works well, but it does leave a small gap between the hood and the grille. if you dont mind this, do it this way, its easyier and less fustrating.
if your going for perfection and dont mind a little more effort, go with number 1
