Can't beat a Ducane grill made before Weber bought them and slapped their name on some china crap and sold them out to the big box stores. But I agree, you can't beat charcoal or wood cooked carcass!
Seriously tho, I'm not a fan of all those aftermarket multi-light grills. Do people like them b/c their rare? I think they're fuggly, sorry. I like all OEM options; like already stated, it depends on the car.
