Got in my car today, started to put on my visor CD-holder... and the sunshade came off in my hands! So I went to Home Depot to get some glue to fix it, closed the door to my car... and the mirror fell off and shattered! So I rebuilt the mirror out of the four pieces it shattered into. It works, but it's ghetto. Tomorrow I'm going to fix the sun shade, but I need stronger glue first. Argh!
Does anyone have the glass for the driver's side side-view mirror? I just need the glass piece (hopefully I can pop off the one I built). Also, I'm not sure if I'll need a driver's side sunshade. Anyone have one of those? Tan in color.
It's a B3 Passat, by the way.

New mirror glass is about $20 from an Auto Glass place. Put it on with silicone and tape it up for a few days so it sets.

The dealer sells just the mirror and backing for about $40.
