Alright, figured I post this in the 1.8t forum because its more vehicle specific than the forced induction forum. Just about that time to throw it all on the car!
Wanted to save myself some trouble and double check with you guys that I'm not missing anything. Thanks for the clicks!
So far this is what I have:
-GT28RS Turbo
-ATP Mani
-Oil lines/coolant lines
-FMIC w/ ATP Pipe kit
-ATP TIP
-630cc Deka's
-4bar FPR
-3inch MAF housing with MAF sensor
-CAI (in rough condition, might just use stock airbox... comments?)
-Forge Splitter Valve
-Walbro 255 Inline Fuel Pump
-Extra MAP, MAF, Breather Valve, etc...
-Unitronic 630cc software loaded ECU
-Plenty of

Since the kit's used, I'll be buying new oil line and manifold gaskets soon to add. Anything else you guys could think of? Keeping stock airbox OK? Putting the fuel pump in engine bay or right after fuel filter under the car? Good anti seize brand? Any other tips, tricks and such much appreciated! Thanks guys! Enjoy the holiday brothers

Re: GT28RS BT Build Checklist (Ballistic Reindeer)

I would seriously think about rods at this point, also the FPR is dependent the the type of soft-wear.

good point, I will be investing in a boost controller of some sort to keep boost at a reasonable level. What would you suggest? 16-17?

Theres a good FAQ for the ATP GT28RS kits, you might want to give that a read, because you may want to pick up a few piece that would make the install easier and reduce the amount of issues you may see in the future.

i agree, i would invest in some rods. I had a 28rs on my car before and that thing has a nasty torque spike.

So, fundamentally, rods are the only supporting mod I would need to do to the internals to run this turbo at full capacity?

Re: GT28RS BT Build Checklist (NOLA_VDubber)

Awesome, I'll keep that in mind. Probably don't have enough time to install them this coming weekend, but I'll put that on the list of things to do this summer. Any other necessities anyone can name?

I would get the rods done asap. At least this way you can boost with confidence

I'm about to find out!
I think, dependent on boost settings and supporting mods(software, fueling, etc), anywhere from 280-330whp from what I've seen... Not sure about torque numbers. I'll get her on a dyno as soon as I complete the build. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
