Re: GT30R TURBO SYSTEM (JoBo(GTi))

Searching is the best option.
You need to decide how much you want to spend, how reliable you want the car to be, how long you want the car to be out of commission while the work is going on, what kind of hp numbers you are wanting, what parts you are wanting to replace with doing a turbo that big.

Re: GT30R TURBO SYSTEM (Burley)

ok well this is wut i have
-catbak exhasut
-aem intake
-techonics downpipe
-revo flash program stage 1
-suspension, ect. ect.

i have money for all the following
-GT30r turbo
-Eurojet FMIC
-ATP turbo mani
-415(475) feul injectors
-38mm tial WG
those alone would be about 3k.
so im willign to spend how ever much i can to make a GT30r turbo run well with not alot of lag. so my question is what can i do to make it as close to laggless as possible?!?!
and reach for around 350hp??

ask us again, when you've done the research necessary to present us with a real list of parts, cuz you're missing a lot of isht.
in the process of your research, if you have a problem finding any info, feel free to ask. but please search first using simple keywords.

Fuel FUEL fuel http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

edit. what else are you missing? The research, there is no cookie cutter setup on these systems. If thats the case, stick with a ko4 upgrade.

unfortunately it will not be as easy as just putting some hardware together and throwing it on. Drive train is gonna take a crap on you at those power levels, of course same for rods since a stock motor would just be a ticking time bomb.
Get a smaller turbo, 3071r from arnold (pagparts). Great kit, good power levels and "safe" on stock block.

you must be smoking the crack today...a 3071r will easily blow a motor

so I woulnd't call it safe by any means...
350whp can be had by a gt2871r, and if you are concerned with lag, it's not a laggy turbo in comparison to a 3071r
in all honesty, it sounds like you aren't 100% on what you want or your homework (you just threw out some parts from other peoples experiences)...I'd look into getting a kit like in my signature (mine is pretty much sold this weekend, but if not new, I suggest you find an APR kit as it'll be exactly what you are looking for and 350whp and stock block are things you can get away with running safely)

N75 - controls boost pressure
boost controller - you guessed it controls boost pressure

ok ok hence I put "safe" in quotes. But yeah I 100% agree ... I would not run it on stock block.
and yeah APR stage III+ sounds more like something the OP would need.

i think the op is looking for a complete kit for the GT30?? something he can bolt on and just call it a day...which i believe does not exist.
