I'm thinking about putting the master cylinder from an '84 GTI into an '81 Jetta. The main reason I would do this is that I HATE the pressure-activated brake light switches on the '81, and would prefer the pedal switch from the other car. BUT...
Are there any hidden pitfalls I should be aware of? Any other advantages? Will the thing even bolt on? Will I need the vacuum booster as well?
TIA
