How would I go about taking out the GTI in the grill,would u recommend leaving it on and painting it.Also what paints,clear coats,sand paper(if needed) would I be best off with!Thanks for ur help http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Half way there,sanded&painted first layer,i'll sand and paint two maybe three times more then clear coat then pics. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I used a piece of 3M 1000 grit wet or dry sand paper,then used Scratch Fix VW02037 Tornado red LY3D Volkswagen then sanded it again to smooth it out.Then I reapplied the Tornado red again.After about an hour I applied ScratchFix Clear top coat NGSF125
I went out to Pep boys for all the stuff I used $17.25 later.Coilovers and a Oettinger kit are on the way,but it's been soooo long since i've done anything to my car so it was fun to do something as BS as painting my I!
