Re: GTi VR6... Put on Bilsteins or Koni's. tell me i'm lost (DigitalHijinx)
I have Koni adjustables on my Jetta with Neuspeed springs. They eliminate a lot of sway that VW's have. The ride is quite a bit stiffer, but it's worth it IMO. I will admit that it did take a few weeks to get used to the stiff ride.

I had the same question a while back. I've got a friend with the Koni/H&R set-up and I thought the ride was a bit harsh over sharp bumps, even with the shocks set fairly soft. After much research on various mailing lists, the suspension forum, etc., I decided to take a chance on the Bilstein Sports w/ H&R springs even though I had never driven a car equipped with them. The general consensus from my research was that this combo is a good compromise between ride and handling. I'm thrilled so far and don't regret the decision one bit.
