[Whiterabbit]

There are two hair line cracks around the wastegate opening in my turbine housing. Is this going to cause problems or should I just replace the housing or have it repaired?

it souldn't cause to much of a problem.......Those hairline cracks are signs of a turbo over heat. If you were running this on your car before make sure u are getting the thing cooled properlly. If you bought it used i would have someone check out the condition of the turbo and possibly rebuilt it.

Mine has the cracks too. As does the other housing I have. I have been told that the T3 internal wastegate ports develop cracks quite commonly...
