I forgot about this thread while getting all caught up on the new MK8 rear diff - which is nice, BUT, a Wavetrac rear would be better, especially for the MK7's.Yes. The car is amazing now. So much grip. The car rotates the way I want and the understeer is gone! I even now can drift out of corners [emoji123][emoji41]. This is a fantastic thing...

Just to confirm, when you got your front Wavetrac LSD, you disabled XDS? or was it more so when you got your rear LSD installed?
As for the rear Wavetrac LSD, I *almost* feel like it will be cheaper to jump into a MK8 ($5k for Canada for the Wavetrac LSD from Europe). It would be great if there was a core swap program to drive costs down, since they are modifying the diff already.
brings up another valid question, if you are disabling the XDS and thought you could drop a Wavetrac LDS in the MK8, will the rear still work since it is working with various sensors - I think you are still going to be better off with the Wavetrac at the end of the day in the rear.
probably easier to say forget it all and just buy a TT RS
