the philly auto show is basically taking all the local car dealers and hitting them all in a row. never anything special, a couple exotics from Kerbeck and I think they have some bikes this year too. I haven't gone in a couple years, always disappointing.

I went last night. Overall, it was on par with previous Philly shows.
Some highlights:
1. Bewbies. Nissan, Honda, Toyota, and Porsche were the best
2. Camaro concept
3. STi and Legacy GT wagon road race cars
4. 911 Turbo and GT3 (turbo was locked, GT3 on a stand)
5. New Malibu (can't believe I am saying this)
6. New Lancer (on a stand)
7. New Minis (all unlocked)
8. Z06 (unlocked)
9. The exotic car guys will let you sit in an exotic if you ask really nicely
10. The Forester with STi bits in the Tuna Saloon (aka Tuner Salon)
11. Audi R8 (on a stand)

Hells yeah I went.
But beware, there is a Maybach with carbon fiber trays.

The guy in the ugly Porsche jacket was FREAKING out about the carbon fiber, which is why we found it funny. A representative from MB (in the suit) pulled him away to talk because he was so obnoxious. We talked my Dad into giving him bunny ears.
Later, we caught up to him in Volvo (two floors down) and trapped him in a C30 for a picture op.

What a coincidence, my buddies and I weree making fun of a guy all night too. Except our guy was wearing a white sweater vest...

I thought this car simply looked like a slightly bigger TT until I saw it in person. It has much more of a presence in person.

Sure there is nothing really special at Philly, but it has been a family tradition to go every year. I actually drove to my house from Pittsburgh a day before to go with them. We picked my girlfriend up on the way too. It is a good time.
