You already have a tornado generator in your intake tract. It spins at up to 180,000 rpm.

These things are a waste of money. They are so cheap to make that if they had any value, they would come with every car from the factory. Car companies are always looking for cheap, easy ways to improve their CAFE numbers and add power without sacrificing efficiency. They have legions of nerds working on every sort of angle for these sorts of things (although they didn't pick good nerds for the coilpacks, MAFs, and window regulators on our cars).

Couldn't have been said better, you hit the nail on the head, and left your thumb alone, unlike everyone else who believes in a 70 dollar piece of metal!!!
Get a Boostvalve!!! Or just at least an air filter

Well, say what you want, but I love my Tornado. Spool up is a lot quicker, much more responsive, highend definately breaths better, and on average Im seeing atleast 6 mpg improvement. My 1/4 mile trap is up by 4 mph, but the best part is my 60 ft. times are down to 1.97 secs. Seems to run a tad cooler too, or maybe Im just mistaken about it all.

Were you joking???
"or maybe Im just mistaken about it all" YES!!!
6 MPG

I don't want to start a piss war, but 6MPG, so what was it before, and after??? At best you must have tighten something, or other while installing it to make these claims!!!

Re: HAS ANYONE USED A TORNADO ON THEIR CARS?!?!? (Al Fresco)

lets see...
the tornado claims to improve combustion in your combustion chambe by causing a turbulent effect in the air intake where it is installed.
so if you install one, the turbulent air has to pass past the screen in the MAF, the actual MAF, the turbo, the intercooler and into the throttle body and into the plenum and through 4 runners.
seems to me like :
A) all turbulent effects would be lost by then
B) they claim it acts like a mini-turbo - that's all well and good but i have a real turbo
C) as for MPG improvement, i have an eco-tek cleanburn, wanna buy it from me?

Re: HAS ANYONE USED A TORNADO ON THEIR CARS?!?!? (AxeAngel)

The turbulence offered by the tornado is bad... Ever notice on the 30V V6 that huge thin in the center... That is the intake runners that mix air and fuel... not to mention fuel is injected after the tornado... I can understand it just may work on a carburated vehicle... But VW, or Audi, NO...
I could just go all day thinking of insults to this product!!!
