Well some of you know I recently came into a dizzy rado for dirt cheap. Nothing like a VR6 for the price of a set of tires. Anyway, the car is off at the paint shop and then off to the mechanic for a bit of freshening up. I have big plans in mind, S/C, plenty of Schrick goodies and probably a whopping 18+ psi to scoot. Now I have a good chunk of change to pretty much do a sweet build, exterior and all, the works, but for some reason I'm dying to get my hands on another MK4 GLI( ex wife got to make off with the last one). What do you gentlemen suggest? Go all out on the Rado, or leave it as a bolt on daily and pick something else up?

If you ask me I would pick something else up, it doesn't even have to be nice and flashy just a dependable backup car..

"Rado" and "Daily" in the same sentence often correlate with use of the words "Broke" and "Bus" in the same sentence a short time later, unless you've got that backup car.

I daily drove mine for the first two years I owned it and I would say the first 6 months it didn't give me any trouble, then at the two year mark I picked up a $300 Scirocco just in case, which soon became my winter car leaving the Corrado free to work on more often. (more time sitting = still penniless, but more nice stuff on car)
