Having no luck finding 'unique' wheels...please help

Hey guys. This is not a "What kind of wheels should I get" type of question, it is more WHERE to get them. The Tirerack has good stuff, but to be honest here, it's all been out for a while and it isn't very unique any more. With the exception of the BBSs (which I cannot afford), they have slow-changing inventory (at least for four lug applications). Tires.com has some decent stock, but not too much in the way of 'European' styling. Victoria Tire and AAA Wheels seemingly carry only Tenzo R, Rated X, Konigs type of wheels...I'm looking for distinctly European styles, but even the Ronals do not appeal to me. Can you please give me a place to check out for some "different" stock? Thanks.

Check out http://www.duw.com it is in german but if you look for the word felgen that will take you to the rim area. just click on links till you find what you are looking for. If nothing else it will give you ideas of what is out there.

Finding unique wheels is hard! here's a few suggestions that helped me find my wheels:
1 - check out the rice magazines. All civics are 4x100, there are HUNDREDS of wheels in the catalogs. Chances are you can find 2 or 3 styles that you like that aren't "ricey".
2 - once you decide on a basic design, ask some honda buddies to help you locate a distributor. I asked a friend on a honda board, and he found a distributor within the hour!!
3 - ask at local rice shops. They usually have stacks of catalogs. They will want your business, so just ask them and they'll show you tons of styles. They might be able to clue you in on some wheels that haven't been released yet or are only a few months old.
Hope this helps. Let us know what you end up getting

wheel hunting is fun!!! what i have done (since i cant stand the slow moving inventory of discount tire) is gone toward the retro idea, look for older wheels on ebay etc, you can find a sh!tload of stuff out there.. you just kinda have to know what your looking for.

Borrow a D&W catalog from a local VW shop and also look through the Tuning Zubehor catalog (from Dub Oddity
)... Both have pages of sweet looking wheels, D&W is where I found out about RH Cuprads.
Once you find out what wheels you want, talk to Matt (Dub Oddity) or Danny (97VenomGTI ? Is that right, I can never remember your alias.), they can track ANY wheel down for you, and they cool friendly as hell guys.

Check out O-Z's website. And then their Saturn Plus rims...very classy, and sporty.
plus you get a great name brand....not that it matters..but O-Z just sounds FAST

Hey, thanks for all the replys! This will probably be my winter project, as far as finding a wheel with a little bit of everything mixed in (Right after I pass my finals
). I don't have any VW Shops near me, but I will definitely flip thru the TZ Catalog. Again, thanks very much for the help. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
