can't find the size of my block...the stamp to tell me what size it is. it is an 84 wolfburg with a carb and manifold. is this a 1.6 block? reason i'm asking is because i've got a nice 1.6 head, and if the studs break off...i'm just gonna switch heads. i've got an exhaust leak from the manifold and i have a few sets of headers lying around. are all the flanges the same for all the blocks??

Most likely the engine is a 1.7L. The engine code is stamped on a machined flat surface on the front of the engine block just below the cylinder head and approximately behind the ignition distributor.
The engine code for a 1.7L is EN. You may have to clean any grease from the machined flat surface to read the code.
Good luck, WWR.
