I and most of the swedish mk2:s have them up to a certain year since we had to have them because of laws and regulations. They're ugly as hell tough.

That brown Golf aint mine but yeah it appears to have one just hanging there. I have one too but its under bonnet. I have no idea how to remove the lamp washers, they feel like they are hold really sturdily. Ive noticed that there were two kinds of washers, narrow and wide ones. https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/20918802655/in/dateposted-public/ ic: heres a picture of wide one. They do have hardware to attach them to the bumper at #1C and #3.
