heater blower assembly???

I was wondering if anyone knows if I have to take the dash apart to replace the heater blower motor, and the fan. I have to replace my heater core and it is a recall but I might do it myself if the dealer won't replace the other things that don't work. I was planning on fixing everything at once. help please.
