JETTA IV CLEAR TAILS BY HELLA GROUP BUY HAS NOW BEGUN!!!

I hope those pics went up ok, if not ill re doit
I have emailed Mike at Rapid Parts a few times and as I relayed in the previous post, and he is interested in se-ting up a group buy for us on these. He told me that he will have them at the latest the 2nd week of January, but maybe sooner.
He has not given me any official prices.
I suspect he will cut us a good deal since this will be the first time these are on sale, and if we round up enough prospectives we should have a good number of people interested.
SO this post is a "feeler" of those who would like to be part of a tentative list that i will be accumulating to gauge the interest in a group buy, so i can get back to Mike in the next few days with some apprx. numbers.
Ill try to keep in touch as much as i can (daily @ the least)
if i cant return your emails asap its b/c i am busy w/ grad school

they are "legal" if you use the additional bumper reflectors shown in the pic. This is the same for the smoked ones which alot of people here have, but noone really uses them and the cops don't seem to mind, so technically speaking...

they've had clears for the golf/gti for a while, but they hadn't justified producing them for the jetta/bora, because it is a much less popular platform for europe...at least that's what some exec said when someone from these forums contacted them about it a while back....glad they went through w/ this one http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

you could probably do like the honda owners with their clear lenses, take the outside lense off, usually by heating the resin that holds the light together. Then take this cherry red paint (it's clear looking) and paint the inside of the lights the color that you want.. then you would have your red/clear/red lights!

i know these aren't for everyonem but i want clears cause i think it looks good on white. As for the requests, here you go...not perfect, but acceptable to give an idea of what's possible...

i am sorry....those look nasty in the picture. The car looks like it has moth guts all over the tails.....They'll even look cheaper in person... smoked or red clears are the way to go. Whatever floats your boat.
