Help Applying corbeau logo badge!

586 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  SmartAssRacingTeam
I had ordered 2 Forza II corbeau seats in customized Grey cloth,1 came with the badge stitched on the headrest area but the passenger seat headrest is blank....the badge is in the box in a plastic bag,(apparantly someone forgot to stitch it on).
I called the company I ordered it from and told them the problem and they said an auto interior store can sew it on for me..it shouldn't be a bid deal.I went to an auto upholstery store and they told me that the seat had to be disassembled to put the badge on correctly and it would take a couple of hours,(they charge $65 an hour!
).
Is there anyway that I can apply the badge on myself with some sort of cloth adhesive??I don't want to ruin the fabric.
This IS NOT the seats I have but it is the same exact badging.........

I can't help you with any sewing recommendations or suggestions, but I can tell you what I'd do.

There is no way in hell I'd take more money out of my pockets for these seats (especially ones like these
) when it's not your problem or your fault. I'd be talking to wherever you got em from...making them pay to get the bish sewed on like it should have been in the first place!

^^^This is true...but by the time I send the seat to nevada and have them do it for me and ship it back, the summer will be over

Maybe have corbeau pay the upholstery shop,(next town over to me), to do it??

Thanx for the replies http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif It's just something so stupid and frustrating that is probably easy to fix,I can't believe there isn't a way to manually sew this on without having to take the entire seat apart

You could hand sew it on, but it isn't going to be a fun process. It won't look as good either...
