I need some assistance guys....
I am short a socket to pull a transmission at the junkyard. I need to know what size the axle nut on the end of the cvs.
it's a HUGE size I just want to make sure I buy the right one. I think I heard it was a 33mm. but I'm not sure so someone....amke me sure so I can go get that trans today...... Will need info by 12:30PM mountain time.

30mm is the size. This is a common size for axle nuts on many cars. I know Nissan, Toyota, VW and GM's all use this size. You should be able to walk into any parts store and they should have it.

I got the 30mm...!!!!1 it was 12.99!!!!! big money!
wworked like a charm though....Took out a trans and a Head despite dropping my 12 point tool down an oil galley!

One more A2 tool question.....Will my local checker/napa have the pressure plate/flywheel holding fixture????? VW tool #VW558
it's sunday and the dealership isn't open on the weekends.
Do I have any other options??? ghetto tools? any suggestions would be great.
