HELP! How to change this? My heating and cooling light burnt out!

for non climatronic, pull out the center knob, with some sharp pliers, pull out the tiny bulb inside, and replace. you can get the bulb at the dealer. if you're under warranty, just bring it in. mine burnt out twice already.

This has come up a half dozen times in the past half dozen weeks. If you're gonna pull your knob, put something for the pliers to grab it with so you don't scratch the plastic, like a T-shirt. Use some plastic tube if you have any to grasp the bulb, but re-insert it by hand. That's it. It's easier if it's pointing vertical. Bulb is #42, but get the one from the dealer because it's the correct power, the ones at the auto store are too dim.
