Since you're replacing the pump anyways, drill the heads off the bolts, 5/16 drill bit should do nicely. The replacement bolts are M8x12.

Welcome to the club...I ended up with two frozen in bolts on my WP too! Those Mexicans must not be real up close and personal with a torque wrench. These bolts are only supposed to be torqued to 15 ft-lb. and no way the're gonna freeze in the hub at that torque! Anyway, I pulled pump housing and used dremel tool with diamond wheel to cut thru the hub at each frozen bolt. Then cut a slot in each bolt head and used coal chisel to wack the bolts loose! All back together now...looking at dealer charges for routine stuff like this ($595 for timing belt replacement, $700 for fuel pump) its worth the sweat and aggravation to DIY!

A drill is way easier but your point about the benefits of DIY is well made.

Vise grips work miracles

Only prob with vicegrips is you have to have room to rotate enuff to break loose the screws after you get em in the "death grip" I couldn't seem to make it happen because of the narrow space between pulley and hub on WP. Sure glad I asked for a Dremel from my kids for Christmas a few years back! Its saved my ass more than a few times! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
