If you just remove the transfer case, there's no axle flange.

I need the pic of the clutch side. I have a 4wd TT 6 speed. I took the transfer case off. I wanted to see a pic of a 2wd from the clutch side.(bellhousing)

yes, the only diff is where the 2 top case bolts to the engine, VR more towards the starter area and the 1.8T is more towards the transfer case.
